Welcome to the Machine

2018 Sep 20

Hello weinerbutts! As you may have noticed, we have an update. Now, for the news everyone is here for, my next EAS scenario will be up late this month or early next month. With my personal life, I’m on a steady diet of 7 day work weeks until somewhere in mid-October. So, for those folks who are just waiting for my next vid, be patient. I’m not trying to criticize the personal lives of other mock EAS makers out there, but I’m a busy man, so that’s why you see me upload a video once every 2-3 months, 1.5 months if I get lucky or my creative side of my fucked-up brain is on a hot streak. This one will be weather-related and the working title is called “Day of the Twisters.” As of now, it’s 70% done.

For my view on news, I saw that video of the weatherman on The Weather Channel acting like he was getting pushed by the wind while people behind him walk causally behind him wearing shorts. Yes, that is fake news (two words our president likes to say), but the news loves being dramatic. I do recall superstorm Sandy where people were behind a reporter acting like jackasses, and also a guy in New York City jet skiing in Hudson River, both of those people were shunned by the newsfolk in the aftermath. For me, I don’t use the words “fake news” so much as “being dramatic.” It’s all that is. Hopefully, for any fans of my work that were in the path of that hurricane (later reduced to a Tropical Storm quite sooner than most guessed) are okay and well.

For the first time in my life, I watched the video to Pink Floyd’s “Welcome to the Machine.” I must say, it’s a good thing I didn’t watch this video when I was a kid. It even scared my adult ass, but found it interesting. The music video shows an apocalyptic cityscape with lots of blood being shown throughout the video. Scary but interesting.

Will I do an apocalyptic EAS? Yes, sometime next year I will make something of that effect. I got a few ideas under my sleeve.

Another minor note as you can tell, I added an Archives link to the site. Also, when your mouse hovers over the top links (on PC), you can click anywhere on the links to get to the destination.

One more note I like to add, the Zombie movies are TV-14, but I had a 13-year-old and a 12-year-old say they are watching my movies anyway. I can’t stop one from watching the movies, I just don’t want a concerned parent reaching out to me and complaining, while that parent screwed up somewhere and getting pissy at me to redeem themselves. I strongly doubt I’ll ever encounter that, the warnings help. Just be careful folks, Soundboard Hack EAS is TV-MA.

Enjoy!

The beginning

2018 Aug 28

Welcome to the WishesNetwork website! I tried to make it look as 80s/early 90s as possible. I’m using the Nintendo (NES) font for this site. Hopefully, you all enjoy it. This site was not made with Wix or any web development platform, I made this! I have some experience with web development and I decided to use it here. This site is a copy of a scrapped project I was going to take in 2015-16, but the customer cancelled. I kept the code for this site, modified it to have the NES text.

This site was put up just a few days after my Toxic Spill/Zombies II scenario. For that one, I was expecting a few thumbs downs on that from the beginning, but so far in those two days, 14 thumbs up, 0 thumbs down. A few things went awry, such as the ticker in the first WHAC segment. My movie maker is cool as hell, but it can be tricky with tickers, especially with small ones. This maybe the last time you’ll see WHAC, that or I’ll make a bigger ticker for future scenarios. Special thanks to all folks who like it.

If you go down the comments section of that movie, one commenter by the name of DavidMurdock4 asked if there will be a part III. The answer is YES, however, y’all gonna hafta wait! Truth be told is that, I got two scenarios in queue at this time. I have a weather scenario coming up next (be up in October), then a funny one (coming in December). My thing is, I make about 6-7 scenarios a year with the last one being funny. I did this last year with Soundboard Hack. Also, it was interesting to see DavidMurdock4 watching and commenting on that video, that was a surprise. He also got bit by the EAS bug and made his own, take a look here. DavidMurdock4 is more known for his prank calls; he has been knocked out of YouTube a few times for his prank calls to Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.

Yes, I know it may piss a few people off, but part III of Toxic Spill/Zombies won’t come until Jan/Feb 2019. Say if I was making a lot of money (or some) with doing these EAS movies and the demand was high, perhaps I would shift gears and make that one next. But as of now, I’m not making anything and with a few of these vids, I had a wordsmith edit some of my work, she didn’t do it for free (wasn’t expecting that anyway), so I had to pay some $$$ for making these vids. I’m not trying to be a sellout, but it was a pisser that YouTube moved the goal post with its 1000 subscribers/4000 viewing articles. I suppose I can thank Logan Paul for that.

But besides that, the reason why I put out a movie once every 2-3 months is I work two jobs (one full-time and one part-time) and also, I expected to be busy in the last three months of this year. Plus, I’m studying programming. You can take a look at my TreeHouse profile. Also, I have made a few websites already, see the about page for details.

Anyways, to end it all, this site will be updated once per month. I plan on making an article here and there on this site. A couple of articles about how I make these little movies, some behind the scenes info, status on upcoming scenarios and other plans! If and when I do update the site, it’s highly unlikely I’ll be making a video telling all my subscribers that there has been an update. The only time I would do that is when I need to ask you all a question, or something seriously fucked up happened and you all need to know about it (I’m not that popular here, not too many would care, heh-heh).

Enjoy and see you soon!
